    One of the most effective means we use to attract proven and qualified employees is our Metro Temp database, which currently consists of over 10,000 names of potential employees who have worked or have qualified to work for Metro Temp. Our pool of employees is updated daily with top-notch people – ready, willing and able to meet your workforce needs.

    We advertise depending on our target prospect, using the Metro Temp web site, newspapers, Internet, magazines, radio, television, direct mail, community organizations, college, universities, referrals, etc.

    We work extremely hard at keeping our employee pool at a high quality level and placing them with high quality companies.

    2. Screen and Interview
    Job candidates complete a comprehensive application, designed not only to detail work history and skills, but also designed to learn more about the candidate's abilities to follow directions, and think and work as a team. After completing the detailed application, we check the candidate’s references, criminal history, and if pertinent to your job position, motor vehicle violations and drug screenings.

    We interview top candidates fitting the "job match” profile for required employment history, work experience, and skill set. We administer appropriate testing assessments and thoroughly assess the qualities needed to perform at expected levels of performance.

    3. Hire
    When an employee is hired, we provide an employee handbook that is thoroughly reviewed in our orientation process that covers job site rules, policies, procedures, safety rules and much more. We provide and review with every employee the positions job description, rate of pay, incentive opportunities and performance requirements. Employment paperwork for federal and state are completed along with agreements and policies desired by your company.

    4. Orientation
    Metro Temp provides all employees industrial safety orientation on hazardous communications, personal protective equipment, lock out/tag out, blood-borne pathogens, and client specific safety requirements prior to placement.

    5. Manage
    Metro Temp works with our employees to best fit your corporate culture and management style making sure that the right employee is matched with the right client. Maintaining highly motivated employees and satisfied clients is first, making sure our job assignments are filled with the best possible employees and secondly, constant communication with our client management personnel and employees assigned to jobs is a key element to achieving total satisfaction for both.
